Exhibition Questions

Here are some sample questions that may be asked at your Exhibition:

  • What ideas do you have to improve PHHS?
  • As you think about your high school years, what do you wish that you had done differently?
  • Describe one major problem you encountered at PHHS and tell how you handled or overcame it.
  • Tell us about the class that has best prepared you for life after high school. Why has it been so important?
  • In which class were you asked to think the most? Why?
  • What school and community groups have you gotten involved in during high school?  What do you plan to be involved with after high school?
  • Describe a time when you had to deal with change.
  • What advice would you give an incoming 9th grader.
  • If you had two extra hours in your day, how would you spend them?
  • Why are good attendance and being on time important?
  • Describe a group activity in which you participated and explain what qualities you brought to the group to make it better?
  • What is your definition of a responsible citizen? What personal qualities do you possess which could improve society in some way.
  • What obstacle do you think you will have to overcome to reach your goals?
  • How have you improved academically as a student?
  • Describe a way you have learned to appreciate cultural or individual diversity.
  • What are your post high school plans and what steps have you taken to fulfill these plans?
  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
  • What skills have you learned in high school that you did not have when you started?
  • What was your worst disappointment in high school? How did you overcome it?
  • What was your greatest accomplishment or joy in high school? What did you learn from it?
  • What technology skills have you gained since you started at Patrick Henry?
  • What sets you apart from the rest of your graduating class?
  • How are you planning on achieving your career goals?
  • How do you handle criticism?
  • What would your teachers say about your work?
  • Do you prefer working with others or by yourself? Why
  • What kind of people do you find most difficult to work with?
  • Was HS the best 4 years of your life or just 4 years out of the way?
  • What will you remember most about PHHS?

Exhibition panelists are free to ask one of their own questions if it is appropriate for the topics you discuss during your presentation.
