Cross-country boys, girls, and JV teams for completing undefeated seasons in Eastern League dual meet competition on Tuesday. Team members will compete in the Eastern League championship meet next Tuesday before preparing for the CIF Championships on November 21.   posted Nov 04


Members of the Patrick Henry cross-country team for their showing at Saturday`s Mt. SAC Invitational. The freshman boys finished fifth in their race, the soph boys finished fourth, and the varsity boys were second in the Individual Sweepstates race. The frosh girls won their race, led by Hannah Kay`s first place finish. A total of 20,000 runners competed in 118 races at Mt. SAC. The Patriot runners resume Eastern League competition on Tuesday, meeting Point Loma and Serra at Morley Field.   posted Oct 27

All the student who were recognized today at the 4.0 Reception. We had 184 students recognized for their 4.0+ grade point average from last June: 43 Sophomores, 51 Juniors, and 90 Seniors. Senior Kellen Blumberg, captain of the cross country team, has been recognized by the Union-Tribune as Athlete of the Week for his 7th place finish at the Clovis Invitational last Saturday, October 10. Daniel Straub for his ongoing internship with the San Diego Zoo. Sharona Silverstein for her $500 first place award from the San Diego chapter of the ACLU for her Science Fair based essay on "The Effects of Volunteeering on Humanitarian Missions on Pre-Dental Students' Attitudes: Implications for the Protection of Civil Liberties."   posted Sep 07


Sharona Silverstein, a resident of San Diego, who was honored with a 2009 Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair Special Award. Sharona’s project-based essay entitled “The Effects of Volunteering on Humanitarian Missions on Pre-Dental Students’ Attitudes: Implications for Resolving an Ethical Problem” received a $200 2nd-place prize from the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology. The award was presented at a July 1 ceremony at the Reuben H. Fleet Space Center. Sharona will be a sophomore at Patrick Henry High School this fall.   posted Aug 02
