Is it okay to release your child’s information to military recruiters?

The Board of Education and Superintendent instructed central office to send a form letter home with high school students addressed to parents/guardians that ask the question above again while also providing them additional information to make their decision.

Attached is the 2-sided form letter to parents (in both Spanish/English) that is to be distributed to all students at your school site. The letter has a deadline of November 06, 2009 for parents to return it to the student’s homeroom/advisory period. Any letters returned to your site are to be routed to your enrollment clerk for entry into Zangle. A separate communication will go out to your Zangle `power user` staff notifying them of the letter and actions needed.
