Project SARAH presents a special theatrical event at the Lyceum Theatre, on Oct 25.

Project SARAH (Stop Abusive Relationships at Home) is an important program of Jewish Family Service that addresses domestic violence in our community. On October 25, 2009, Project SARAH will be presenting a special theatrical event at the Lyceum Theatre in Horton Plaza. The play is entitled The Yellow Dress and raises awareness of this critical topic in a compelling one-woman performance that is teen centered. The performance will be followed by a discussion that allows for audience participation.

As an exciting component to the event, we are offering students in both middle school and high school an opportunity to participate in a poster contest. Our goals are to have as many students as possible attend the performance and think critically about the issue by creating an original poster illustrating a relevant aspect of domestic violence and healthy relationships. If you are interested in creating a poster check out the attached flyer.

For additional information about Project SARAH, please visit the Jewish Family Service website at http://www.jfssd.org and do not hesitate to call with any questions.
