PHHS science teacher Lara Dickens at sea with the SEAPLEX project

Check out what Ms. Dickens is doing on the SEAPLEX research vessel at http://www.henry.sandi.net/staff/ldickens/ as well as links to local and national media attention that it has received thus far. While on board she has about an hour of satellite time per day available to them to upload and send all data to Scripps which then edits and posts the blog. She made one blog entry on day three which explains a bit about what she is doing.

On the SEAPLEX site at http://sio.ucsd.edu/Expeditions/Seaplex/ they have a Google Earth map of where the boat is currently (far away and getting further). On the left-hand side of the screen you'll see the link to "the team" and "seaplex blog"
